Christmas Eve at Pappy and Yaya's

We had a good time with Tripp's family on Christmas Eve this year. Ella had really just recovered from the stomach virus she managed to avoid at Thanksgiving. We weren't able to get there as early as we wanted because she felt bad. After the party at Tripp's parents' house, we went to the Newsome extended family dinner. Ella abruptly decided that her back and belly hurt and demanded to leave. It was so out of character for her, I knew we had to go. Needless to say, it was a rough ride and a rougher night.
